Our favorite Candian pop punker, Avril Lavigne is being sued for plagiarism over her song "Girlfriend". A pair of American song writers are claiming that "Girlfriend" sounds far to similar to a hit song of theirs from the 1970's, "I Wanna Be You're Boyfriend" by The Rubinoos song.
Only a few weeks ago Avril's ex-best friend Chantal Kreviazuk, told Preforming Songwriter magazine that Avril stole a song that Chantal wrote and put it on her album "The Best Damn Thing"...
The song chorus's are nearly identical

The Academy Is... new video for "Neighbors" is out....Armor For Sleep posted on their MySpace page what are apparently the dates for the tour their going on with The Academy Is, The Rocket Summer, and Shirwood.

Our favorite pop/punkers Fall Out Boy preformed on the Today Show today... Not only did they set the record for most people to attend a Today Show concert, but they also said "God Damn" live on national TV (suposidly for the first time ever), not once but several times... As most of you are probably aware the chorus to their hit song "This Ain't A Scene" goes: "this ain't a scene, it's a god damn arms race"... Apparently some Christians are rather angry over the matter, to the point that they went as far as to make You Tube videos urging people to send NBC nasty letters...

According to various gossip blogs and tabloids such as TMZ.com and Us Weekly Magazine, Good Charlotte's Joel Madden's girlfriend "Simple Life" star Nicole Ritchie is pregnant. Because of the impending birth the two are also apparently planning to get married this summer. Nicole has allegedly been seen shopping for wedding dresses.
It seems like only yesterday Joel was singing about his daddy walking out in "The Little Things", now Joel's going to be a daddy.... Lets take some time out to remember the good old days..

Hey RSB Readers,
So I'm (Sammi XO) on vacation right now in San Diego, I actually have been since Wensday... I'm still working on the site and stuff, being away from home doesn't stop me. Anyway.... I signed up for the Fall Out Boy fan club a long time ago so I could get ticket pre-sales(they always sell out)....So FOB's fan club "flyaway"(you get to spend a day with FOB) this year happened to be in San Diego this weekend, so I went to it since it coincided with my already planned vacation. I took tons of pictures of the guys at the San Diego Zoo (we went on a bus tour of the zoo with the guys), and videos & pictures of The Academy Is, Plus 44, Cobra Starship, and Fall Out Boy at their Honda Civic Tour concert tonight. I will post all the pictures and videos sometime this week.
