According to AOL, Good Charlotte will be announcing dates for a full U.S. Tour in support of their new album "Good Morning Revival". As for an opening act, they're reporting their tour mate will be "a good friend and big artist".
According to GC-Chronicles.com their tour will take place in August and September.

Plus 44's Mark Hoppus threw tour mate Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz's bass into the Atlantic Ocean in honor of Pete's birthday at Tuesday's Honda Civic Tour concert at Jones Beach in New York. According to MTV Movies Blog, Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz & Patrick Stump are currently working on writing a movie screenplay. They're writing the story with the intent to have it animated.
Pete told MTV the following:“We are writing a story that we kind of want to end up animated. Not too sure on whether it will ever go or how much of a ‘Hollywood’ project it would be. But it is kind of a narrative that seems to be non-existent in recent animated stories.”

Avril Lavigne's former songwriting partner & best pal, Chantal Kreviazuk is alleging that Avril Lavigne stole the song idea for "Contagious" from her. Chantal claims that she wrote a song called "Contagious" two years ago and sent it to Avril. Avril's camp claims that Avril and her band mate Evan wrote the song together this past year. Everyones favorite place to buy Rock re-lated clothing is getting a makeover. Say bye bye to the red & black decor that everyone knows and loves, Hot Topic's new makeover(as seen above in a flyer handed out at Hot Topic back in March) is light & bright. The new look of the store is supposed to look like "an old building that was built over 100 years ago", and will feature flat screen tv's & a better sound systeme.
Apparently the company thinks that by making the store look brighter and more welcoming, it will help their three year decline in sales and more reflects the current trends in music.Ya hear that scene kiddos, you're the reason Hot Topic's going white. Ya happy now?

According to a posting on the blog of the band Children Of Bodom's Myspace, Bam Margera will be releasing a second "Bam Margera Presents: Viva La Bands" compilation. If you're not familiar with the first "Viva La Bands" cd, it was an unofficial(it was released on Bam's record label and not by MTV) soundtrack to Bam's show "Viva La Bam" featuring all of Bam's favorite bands. The cd came with a bonus dvd disc with a "Lost" episode of "Viva La Bam"
"Viva La Bands Vol.2" is set to be released on September 4th 2007. The cd will feature never before released songs from CKY, Clutch, In Flames, Vains Of Jenna and Children of Bodom, as well as tracks from other artists such as The Sounds, Gwar, and Dimmu Borgair. The Anti-Christ Super Star, Marilyn Manson is claiming that My Chemical Romance are ripping him off, and has said in recent interviews that what they[mcr] do is a pitiful version of himself. Manson even went as far to put a song on his new cd("Eat Me Drink Me"), about Gerard Way's clothing titled "Mutilation Is The Most Sincere Form Of Flattery'". In the song Manson has the lyrics "Fuck You! Fuck You!".[SOURCE]

Rumors have been swirling lately that Pete Wentz and his girlfriend Ashlee Simpson had recorded a song together.
Wentz put rumors to rest yesterday by telling MTV News: "That's pretty much the silliest recent rumor I have read. Mostly [because] I want no part in selling a relationship. I mean, it is not true. She hasn't really played me any of [her album]. I heard part of a demo that I liked, though."

CKY played a show at Rex's in West Chester, PA over the weekend. During their 3 and a half hour long set, they played the song "Woe Is Me". A studio version of "Woe Is Me", is set to appear on the re-release of 1999's "CKY: Vol. 1".

According to AvrilBandAids.com, Avril Lavigne recently shot a music video for "When You're Gone". Aside from that, Avril also recently shot a music video for a remix version of "Girlfriend" featuring rapper Lil' Mama. Avril also will be appearing on Lil' Mama's album on a track called "Life".

On Sunday Fall Out Boy shot a music video for "Take Over The Breaks Over" which will be their 4th single(if you count the video starring The Furry Tree Friends for "Carpal Tunnel Of Love" that plays on Fuse under the band alias of Switchblades & Infidelities) off of Infinity On High.
