- Kerrang have released their list of the Greatest Rock Icons. Gerard Way came in at #7, Pete Wentz came in at #14, Billie Joe Armstrong came in at #3, Benji Madden came in at #27, Panic!'s Brenden Urie came in at #19, Ville Valo came in at #31 and Bert McCracken came in at #50. Not bad since Sid Vicious only clocked in at #65.

-The Academy Is... first single off of their new album Santi, "We've Got A Big Mess On Our Hands" hits the radio today.

-The Used's new cd has been pushed back to May 22nd.

- Fall Out Boy's next single "Thnks Fr Th Mmrs" is set to hit radio on March 19th. Also, according to The Philadelphia Daily News, Pete Wentz stole/plagiarized lyric from songs written by Wesley Eisold. (click here to read)

According to a bulletin posted on the main page of the social networking web site FriendsOrEnemies.com, Matt McGinley the drummer for The Gym Class Heroes was arrested Monday morning in Mexico, and is currently in Mexican jail.... Here is the FriendsOrEnemies.com bulletin:
"Gym Class Heroes drummer Matt McGinley was arrested and allegedly charged with felony early Monday morning in Mexico. McGinley was last seen out at a club with the rest of his band Sunday evening. Details are still forthcoming, but it is known that the band was in Mexico to perform for a television taping. “The Butcher” from The Academy Is… filled in for the taping while management continues to get Matt out. Local counsel has been hired to try to get Matt out. Neither the band nor its representatives could be reached for comment. The band is currently in the middle of a sold out US headline tour, and their single “Cupid’s Chokehold” has been the smash hit of 2007."

Poor Matt... Hopefully he'll get out of jail and Mexico ASAP!
